Outline for Together (2021)

Misc. Notes to (maybe) add:

Husun came to the White Hive, so maybe they speak a different language/dialect. Yisu has no problem understanding them, but maybe Mide mistakes their words for something goofy until they get the hang of the hunter’s language?

Scene 1:

Mide, Husun, and Yisu meet for the first time during a communal meal (maybe it happens weekly, to foster relationships?) in the White Hive.
- Husun is new to the white hive and has only been around for a few weeks. They haven’t made much in the way of friends, and they haven’t been bothered by that. Something about Mide and Yisu attracts them, however…
  - Husun approaches Mide first, trying to make conversation over their chosen lunches. Mide thinks Husun is asking for meal recommendations.
- Yisu sees Husun, a newcomer, mingling with Mide and thinks both of them to be very cute. As an Interpreter, it is already Yisu’s job to make sure Husun is doing well in the Hive, so they approach under that pretense, even though they’re also there to flirt shamelessly.
  - Mide mistakes Yisu’s charming nature and flirting behavior to be directed completely at Husun, who was huffy in return – appearing disinterested but actually being a little flustered.
- Because Mide believes the two to be flirting with each other, Mide excuses themself, and returns to their meal alone. Husun gets huffy again, and Yisu, surprised, asks if Husun likes Mide. Husun blushes, tries to gruffly respond, and then just leaves. Yisu considers the events, and how to encourage a relationship between the three of them.

Scene 2:

Yisu approaches Husun a few days later after Husun has returned from a hunt. Husun has had time to clean up and rest, but wanted to look for Mide. When Yisu comes to talk to them, Husun sighs, but finds themself interested in the beautiful Vesperro’s charming words. (Maybe Husun wants to speak more with someone responding in their native language/dialect, if we include that idea)
- Yisu suggests the two go find Mide and try to flirt a little more, since “we clearly both like them.” Husun is flustered, but finds themself agreeing – they want to see the carrier more, and…well…more time with Yisu isn’t exactly a bad thing…
- The two find Mide on a lunch break from their work as an Architect of the White Hive. Mide sits alone, so Husun sits on one side of them, while Yisu takes the other.
  - Husun tries to be more straightforward about their advances, outright saying “I like you, Mide.” Mide smiles brightly and responds, “I like you too!” (or “I like [object] too” if we go the language miscommunication route) It is clear that Mide thinks Husun is referring to an entirely different type of ‘like’.
  - Yisu tries to help, twisting a bit of Mide’s hair around their finger and leaning in close. Mide is a little flustered, blushing, but looks up at Yisu with a smile. “We both like you.” Yisu says, pressing a little kiss to Mide’s forehead. Mide is surprised by the forward nature of Yisu’s actions, but still isn’t quite Getting It. They respond with “Thank you, Yisu!”
  - Lunch for the architects ends, and Mide goes back to work. Husun looks at Yisu with frustration, but Yisu just smiles. “They’ll get it.”

Scene 3:

Brief interlude scene in which Mide realizes what the other two Vesperros were saying to them.
- They sit alone in their room after a long day at work, mulling over the things Husun and Yisu said to them. The two were very cute, and Mide likes them both a lot. The realization of their meaning hits Mide like a lightning bolt and they resolve to show more interest in the pair going forward.

Scene 4:

A few days later, Mide, Husun, and Yisu are at another communal meal (dinner maybe?). Mide sees Husun and Yisu sitting together, talking intensely about something. The pink-haired Vesperro takes a breath and then heads over, sitting beside Husun, while Yisu sits across from them at a small corner table.
- Yisu flirts and charms, asking about Mide’s day, while to Husun’s surprise, Mide leans into Husun’s side. The hunter can’t help but slide an arm around Mide’s shoulders, looking down at them with a soft smile, before glancing at Yisu like ‘is this really happening?’
- Yisu teases gently, “Are you comfortable there, Mide, darling?”
- Mide blushes, but responds, “I’m comfortable as long as I’m with you two.”

Scene 1:

Lewis’ POV
- A brief introduction to the history of the Pizza ‘n Chill Brew Pub, as well as its long-standing rivalry with Café Rosa Rosa
Lewis waxes on about his friends and his relationship with each of them for a short while, establishing the kind of place he’s in mentally and socially
His attention shifts when he sees Atticus leave the Cafe across the street, and then there’s a description about their ahem relationship.
Lewis thinks back to their last encounter…

Scene 2:

Flashback to recent “argument” about the two eateries trying to reel in more customers than the other; reference various sales in the dialogue
- I.e., Atticus teases Lewis about customers “eating him out of house and home” - and for what, huh? So you can “win”? Please, darling. ;3
- Include more flowery language and sick burns
Lewis gets flustered, because of course he does, and eventually leaves the “argument” to go complain to Nora about his F E E L I N G S, and Evelyn is soon there to chime in
He downplays those feelings a lot during this conversation, especially when Nora asks things like:
- N: “You seem really fond of him. Are you thinking about asking him out, maybe?”
- L: “N-no, I would never! He’s so frustrating, and he never stops teasing! H-how could I…no!”
- E: “Awww, look at you blush! You look so cute! No wonder he likes to tease you!”
He knows he’ll be meeting with Atticus later that night, and he almost blurts it out to Nora & Evelyn, and then gets flustered again, returning to work to avoid thinking about his Many Feelings™

Scene 3:

While Lewis is working, the scene changes to Atticus over at Cafe Rosa Rosa. He approaches one of his waiters (and close friends), Lyric, as Lyric washes up dishes behind the bar.
- Atticus vents to Lyric (in a quiet voice lmao, can’t let customers hear) about his feelings towards Lewis:
  - A: “I do wish he’d open up more. He’s so fun to tease…I hope one day he’ll tease back~”
  - L: “Just give him time, Atticus. It’s hard to open up, especially with people you’re so close to…”
  - A: “You would certainly know a thing or two about that, wouldn’t you, kitten?”
  - L: (HORRIBLE BLUSHING) “Perhaps.”
Atticus holds Lyric’s hand for a moment in a completely platonic friendly way. Lyric is still flustered but smiles anyway.
- A: “Thank you for your advice, dear. I’m looking forward to seeing him tonight. Shall I tell you all the juicy details in the morning?” (teasing him bc he’s also easy to fluster)
- L: “No thank you, sir!” (blushing)

Scene 4:

The scene switches back to Lewis, later that night, when both Cafe Rosa Rosa and the Pizza ‘n Chill Brew Pub are closing for the evening.
Lewis checks in with each of his friends!
- In the kitchen, Hunter is assisting Tariq with dishwashing. Lewis smirks as they go to turn the tap water on - each are splashed with a small stream of water until Hunter realizes there’s a strip of tape over the faucet end. Tariq turns the faucet off, confused and asking “What the hell?” in Urdu, while Hunter removes the strip of tape.
  - H: “Really?”
  - L, grinning: “Man, you guys are soaked. I should really call a plumber.”
  - Tariq, just now realizing what had happened, starts to laugh – Hunter and Lewis can’t help but laugh with him
- Lewis goes to check on the others, helping out where he can. He asks Oliver about his day, and he shyly responds as he puts away his cello. After, he goes to the bar, where Rocko is helping Evelyn and Nora clean bar dishes.
- Lewis jumps in to help, surprising Rocko, who breaks a glass. They’re all good-natured about it, helping him to clean up
  - Nora: “Oh, hold still big guy, let me get the glass around your feet!”
  - Evelyn: “Y’know, I actually hated that glass - could never get the lipstick stains off it!”
  - Rocko, looking at Lewis: “Sorry. I was just a little startled.”
  - Lewis, laughing: “No hard feelings, man! Like Evelyn said, that glass sucked anyway. I think you just did us a favor!”
The scene ends with everyone exiting and going their separate ways to go home, leaving Lewis to lock the door behind him. He takes a deep breath, and then heads to his car. He’s meeting Atticus tonight. They’re going to the poodle’s place, and he can only imagine how extravagant it is. Hopefully things go well.

Scene 5:

Lewis’ POV

Atticus teased Lewis about how much the lab enjoyed watching Atticus, only compounding upon this with a twerking session: rubbing that nice butt up against Lewis and his dick, through the clothes…at first

Before long, they’re on the bed, and Atticus is on his hands and knees, waving that juicy ass at Lewis and beckoning him closer

- Atticus rides the lab for all he’s worth, and Lewis meets him thrust for thrust
- Include additional descriptors of ass clapping, the slapping sound of fuckin’, and maybe Atticus fondling himself as he bounces?
After they both have a ahem happy ending, Atticus slowly climbs off of Lewis and lays down beside him, at which point Lewis curls into him and kisses the other man with a gentle passion
Atticus teases Lewis about “tasting myself on your lips” or smth like that
Lewis is flustered again, suggesting that they go get cleaned up together. Atticus laughs softly, amused, and kisses the lab again
They do go have a soft shower scene, Atticus leading in the cleanup of Lewis, though Lewis reciprocates afterward, gently massaging that nice thicc booty for added kindness
The story ends as the two fall back into bed, holding each other tightly. Even if no one else knows about them, that’s fine - they have each other and that’s all they need…
